Registered Dietitian - Part Time (75% remote)

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, develop individualized nutrition care plans, and provide nutrition education and counseling. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure compliance with CMS and DOH regulations while monitoring residents for weight changes weekly or monthly. Maintain appropriate documentation, participate in quality improvement initiatives, perform monthly kitchen sanitation audits, and review menus semi-annually. Schedule includes 8-12 hours per week with 75% remote work, one onsite visit monthly, and compensation of $30.00-$38.00 per hour with travel reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Current state licensure/certification, if mandated by the state
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, and develop, implement, and monitor effective plans for improvement
- Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions
- Familiarity with state survey processes and nutrition care regulations
- Competency in electronic charting systems
