Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for new admissions and quarterly reviews, develop individualized nutrition care plans, and provide counseling to residents. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure compliance with CMS and DOH regulations while monitoring resident weight weekly to track nutrition and hydration status. Maintain accurate documentation, participate in quality improvement initiatives, perform monthly kitchen sanitation audits, and review menus semi-annually. This part-time role requires 8-12 hours per week with 75% remote work, offering $30-$38 hourly compensation plus travel reimbursement. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Current state licensure/certification, if mandated by the state
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
