Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Flex- Inpatient GWV

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Inpatient GWV role in Geisinger Wyoming Valley. Provides evidence-based nutritional therapy, conducts nutrition assessments, develops care plans including nutrition and feeding (parenteral/enteral) recommendations, documents according to standards, counsels patients and families, conducts group nutrition classes, writes orders per Clinical Nutrition policy, mentors staff, and participates in departmental initiatives. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment; the position emphasizes independent order writing, protocol medication adjustments, collaboration with the health care team, and continuing professional development within pediatrics, senior care, outpatient diabetes management, and nutrition education. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and Pennsylvania RD license or eligibility to sit for the CDR; New Graduate Dietitians graduating soon will be considered. This is a part-time, hospital-based clinical nutrition role with benefits for full/part-time staff.
