Registered Dietitian – Neurodevelopment Restrictive Eating and Feeding & Swallowing

Job Summary
Conduct nutritional assessments and implement care plans for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, ARFID, or feeding and swallowing safety concerns. Provide nutritional counseling to clients and caregivers while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to adapt treatment goals and develop educational resources. Liaise with community providers to support nutrition care goals and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Maintain electronic documentation, manage enteral feed orders, and supervise dietetic students as required. This 0.6 FTE role supports Holland Bloorview's academic agenda through student supervision and research, serving over 8,500 families annually in pediatric rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration and membership of the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- Ability to set priorities and manage a busy workload while meeting required deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment as well as independently
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to use computer software such as MS Office applications, email and web applications
- Demonstrated commitment to maintain and upgrade skills and knowledge through professional development and evidence-based practice
Desired Qualifications
- Current registration with Dietitians of Canada
- Pediatric experience and experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders
- Minimum 2 years of experience within multidisciplinary feeding and swallowing program
- Paediatric experience with physical, developmental, and neurodevelopmental disabilities
- Research experience
- Competence of ESHA food analysis program
