Job Summary
Registered Dietitian position focusing on delivering virtual Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and personalized care to members, particularly those in Medicaid or facing food insecurity. Responsibilities include guiding access to affordable, healthy groceries, supporting sustainable meal planning, and providing personalized virtual nutrition care. The role requires active NY state licensure and ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. Compensation is $48 for a standard 1-hour visit, with an increased rate for bilingual candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Active credentialing as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Licensed Dietitian
- An active state license in NY
- At least 10 hours of weekly availability for patients (weekends and evenings count!)
Desired Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain state licenses in high demand states (reimbursed by Foodsmart)
- Ability to work in the U.S.
- A computer, high speed internet and a smart phone
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese
