Job Summary
Plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department while coordinating with the Dietary Services Director to ensure quality nutritional care and food service for residents and patients. Work with the Administrator to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and facility policies. Maintain a current license as a Registered Dietitian with at least one year of clinical experience in a medical facility. This role supports the facility's commitment to comprehensive resident care within a drug-free, smoke-free environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in dietetics or related field
- Registered Dietitian status
- Current license as required by state law
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility
- Training in diet therapy and nutrition counseling
- Reliable source of transportation
