Job Summary
Registered Dietitian responsible for planning modified diets as requested by the attending physician, providing oversight for the food services department, and conducting nutritional assessments for patients in a post-acute care facility, with emphasis on geriatric patient needs and compliance with applicable laws and Life Care standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in dietetics or related program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Currently registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and meet licensure or certification per State requirements
- Active license in good standing throughout employment
- Registered with American Dietetic Association
- Two (2) years’ experience in a health care facility; post-acute care experience preferred
