Job Summary
Provide nutrition education to hemodialysis patients and complete monthly assessments while reviewing labs. Round with physicians weekly or as needed, recommending vitamins, binders, and nutritional supplements. Monitor patient weights and adjust diet and fluid needs based on clinical data. Collaborate with interdisciplinary personnel to address nutritional and emotional needs, and participate in QAPI and team projects. Work flexible 36 to 40-hour weeks with no weekends required, with remote availability one day post-training. Join HSM's dialysis team in North Carolina, supporting high-quality patient care and efficient operations across multiple centers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or Dietetics
- Active Dietitian licensure appropriate to the state of practice
- Minimum of 1-year experience with clinical dietetics
- Must have flexible schedule
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Employee must successfully pass the Ishihara's Color Blind Test
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
- No weekends required
