Job Summary
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for nutrition counseling, assessing the nutritional needs of patients, and creating care plans tailored to a diverse population. Duties include screening for nutritional risk, providing diet and food drug interaction instructions, and participating in Care Conferences. The role requires maintaining privacy and confidentiality, documenting needs of high-risk patients, and participating in mandatory in-service meetings. Candidates must possess a license as a Registered Dietitian in Ohio and have prior clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietician, licensed in the state of Ohio
- Prior clinical experience required
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety and sanitation practices
- Prior experience teaching and counseling nutrition therapy required
- Successful completion of the R.D. exam is required within 7 months of application for Limited Permit status in the State of Ohio
