Job Summary
Assess, develop, and direct the overall nutrition plan of care for each guest while collaborating with residents and families to participate in care plan development. Continually study emerging trends and new research in dietetics to educate culinary staff on human nutrition and culinary service topics. Maintain current registration in Michigan and demonstrate knowledge of dietary practices, procedures, and governing laws for nursing care facilities. This full-time role with Schnepp Senior Care & Rehab requires a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition and offers tuition reimbursement, 401k matching, and unlimited referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (must be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics)
- Current registration status in Michigan
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide nutrition services appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents
- Knowledge of dietary practices and procedures
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities
