Job Summary
As a Registered Dietitian at Encompass Health, you will communicate with patients to assess nutritional needs, develop and implement dietary plans, educate on healthy eating, and instruct patients on post-discharge diets. You will monitor nutritional status, collaborate with physicians and other care team members, evaluate referral orders for adequacy of nutrition intake methods, document findings in the patient’s medical record, adapt menus for nutritional needs, conduct calorie counts, and review menus for nutritional adequacy, contributing to individualized nutrition care throughout the patient care continuum.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
- State licensure required
- Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a major in Food & Nutrition
