Job Summary
Provide direct nutritional assessment, develop and implement dietary plans, counsel patients on nutrition, and educate on post-discharge diets within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include assessing nutritional needs, documenting in medical records, adapting menus for dietary needs, conducting calorie counts, and collaborating with physicians and other care team members to optimize patient nutrition and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
- State licensure required
- Bachelor‘s or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a major in Food & Nutrition
