Job Summary
Assess nutritional needs, develop and implement dietary plans, and educate patients on healthy eating habits. Instruct patients on post-discharge diets, monitor nutritional status, communicate with physicians and care teams, evaluate referral orders, document in the medical record, implement nutritional care plans, adapt menus for dietary needs, conduct calorie counts, and review menus for nutritional adequacy.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
- State licensure required
- Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a major in Food & Nutrition
