Job Summary
Conduct complete nutritional assessments for all residents to create care plans with nutritional goals and document interventions in the medical record. Provide education to patients, families, nursing staff, and dietary service regarding special diets and dining needs. Review and approve daily menu, snack, and supplement programs while communicating with physicians on nutritional status. Attend resident rounds and nutrition meetings to maintain clinical nutrition policies supporting regulatory compliance. This role offers a starting salary of $65,000-$70,000 plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus, paid CDR fees, and up to 18 free CEUs annually.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or related field
- Knowledge of regulatory standards
- Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software
