Job Summary
Assess nutritional needs of patients, develop and implement dietary plans, counsel patients per physician orders, educate on healthy eating, monitor nutritional status, conduct calorie counts, review menus for nutritional adequacy, document pertinent information in the patient’s medical record, implement nutritional care plans and adapt menus to meet dietary needs, and collaborate with physicians and other care team members to support post-acute care goals.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
- State licensure required
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition
- One year of Clinical Dietetics experience preferred
- Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred
