Job Summary
Provide nutrition care to patients as part of the inpatient rehabilitation team under physician orders. Assess nutritional needs, develop and implement dietary plans, educate patients on healthy eating, instruct on post-discharge diets, monitor nutritional status, document in the patient’s medical record, implement nutrition care plans, adapt menus for dietary needs, conduct calorie counts, and review menus for nutritional adequacy in collaboration with physicians and other care disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
- State licensure required.
- Bachelor‘s or advanced degree with a major in Food & Nutrition.
- One year of Clinical Dietetics experience preferred.
