Job Summary
Assess clinical nutrition needs of residents and develop documented care plans within the electronic medical record. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans based on clinical findings, lab results, and comorbidities. Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and staff while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve overall health. Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards. Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs. Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers
- Valid Driver's License (if multi-site registered dietitian)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations
