Job Summary
In-house Registered Dietitian- Diabetic Educator responsible for providing direct comprehensive nutrition services, assessing and planning care, and delivering individual and group nutrition counseling to patients. Responsibilities include promoting health through dietary management and education, developing personalized diet plans, educating the public on healthy eating, collaborating with healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into patient care, monitoring progress and adjusting plans, evaluating food service operations within healthcare facilities, participating in nutrition-related research, and creating educational materials while ensuring compliance with nutrition regulations and standards. A state licensure as a Registered Dietitian is required; a Certified Dietary Manager and chef experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- State Specific Licensure/Certifications- Registered Dietician
- Certified Dietary Manager preferred
- Basic Education Requirement 1 Associate or Bachelors Degree
- Commercially trained chef with knowledge on how to run a kitchen and plan meals preferred
