Job Summary
Registered Dietitian at DaVita in an outpatient setting focusing on patient-centered care, analyzing lab work results and educating patients and families on appropriate dietary choices. You will contribute to an integrated care team, build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, and support quality improvement initiatives while potentially serving multiple facilities and traveling as needed. Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills are highly preferred, with licensure requirements in the applicable state and completion of the CARD competency assessment after hire.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required
- State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking candidates highly preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed
- After hire and training, successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days
