Job Summary

Assess nutritional needs and provide personalized Lifestyle Counseling to optimize patients' status during pharmacotherapy. Review and assess protocols for clarity and logistical feasibility, ensuring all training requirements are met prior to trial conduct. Perform protocol-mandated remote visits, including reviewing study logs, collecting adverse event changes, and completing eSource documentation. Schedule study visits within the protocol window, prepare participant files ahead of appointments, and deliver diet and nutritional education regarding healthy eating habits. Maintain timely communications with internal teams, investigators, and review boards while working under the supervision of a Principal Investigator.

Required Qualifications

  • Louisiana preferred Registered and/or Licensed Dietician required, from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • BS in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related subject
  • MS preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of community nutrition experience
  • Minimum 1 year Clinical Research experience
  • Demonstrates leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Spanish bilingual preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of medical and research terminology
  • Excellent working knowledge of federal regulations, good clinical practices (GCP)
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse team of professionals
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and leadership skills and capabilities with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated abilities using clinical trials database, IVR systems, electronic data capture, MS word and excel
  • Critical thinker and problem solver
  • Friendly, outgoing personality; maintain a positive attitude under pressure
  • High level of self-motivation and energy
  • Excellent professional writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Remote within the United States
  • 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment
  • Less than 10% travel requirements
  • Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role
  • The ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment
  • Must submit to a urinalysis drug test
