Job Summary
As a Registered Dietitian (RD), you will assess the nutritional care of residents, advise clinical teams, dietary departments, and administration on nutritional status, lab value interpretation, and therapeutic diets. You will play a critical role in ensuring residents maintain optimal nutrition while adhering to skilled nursing regulations. A Registered Dietitian License and 3-5 years of experience in acute or long-term care, along with strong knowledge of dietary regulations and the unique needs of the long-term care population, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian License
- 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment
- Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field
- Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of long-term care residents regarding nutrition
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
