Job Summary
Plan and deliver nutritional care to residents in accordance with physicians’ orders and current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the community; follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice; requires a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition, active Registered Dietitian license, and active Commission on Dietetic Registration registration; two years of long-term care dietitian experience or one year as a registered consulting dietitian; knowledge of food safety and sanitation; full-time shifts on weekdays; mileage reimbursement; comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision, 401K, life insurance, PTO, and education opportunities; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition
- Active state license as a Registered Dietitian
- Active membership/registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Two years of experience as a professional dietitian or dietetic technician in long-term care with some administrative responsibility, or one year as a registered consulting dietitian
- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation
