Job Summary
Registered Dietitian (part-time) at Maple Crest Health Center in Omaha, NE. Assess and monitor residents’ nutritional status and dietary needs; develop, implement, and update individualized nutrition care plans; ensure compliance with physician orders and dietary guidelines; manage therapeutic diets and interactions between food and medication; document assessments, progress notes, and care plans; provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and staff; collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal resident outcomes; ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards; role requires a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field, RD credential, and state licensure. Works 10 hours/week, Monday–Friday with no weekends or remote work; 21+ years old; English proficiency and background check may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required
- Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required
- State certification/licensure required
- Experience in a long-term care environment and geriatric nutrition preferred
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
- Must be at least 21 years of age
