Job Summary
Registered Dietitian responsible for the nutritional care of residents/patients in accordance with applicable standards and facility policies, including planning therapeutic diet menus, calculating nutritional requirements, maintaining patient records, and liaising with families. Role involves assessing and approving diet orders, collaborating with nursing, and ensuring quality nutritional care within a 119-bed skilled nursing facility. Must be a registered dietitian with current state licensure, have clinical Dietitian experience, and possess strong communication and nutrition counseling skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics or related field
- Must be a registered dietitian and maintain a current license as required by state law
- Minimum one year clinical Dietitian experience
- Training in diet therapy and nutrition counseling
- Reliable transportation
- Post-offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical/drug screen
