Job Summary
Conduct periodic nutritional assessments for incoming participants with specialized diet orders, focusing on geriatric nutrition and chronic disease management. Develop and review menus to ensure USDA compliance, perform monthly kitchen sanitation audits, and provide nutritional counseling during on-site visits or inservices. Utilize remote time for finalizing audits, menu reviews, and preparation for education sessions. Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition care as needed. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule of approximately 5-6 hours per week with 30% remote work options, compensated at $40.00-$45.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Current state licensure/certification in California (if mandated)
