Job Summary
Direct nutrition care for special needs populations in a CCRC environment to ensure resident needs and satisfaction are met. Maintain and develop client relationships to drive account retention while managing, promoting, and educating teams on food and nutrition programs per Culinesse standards. Collaborate with culinary and clinical departments on menu requests, special diets, and process improvements, ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards. Establish operating standards, implement quality improvements, and communicate updates across departments. Requires a licensed Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, minimum one year of healthcare experience, and availability on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian, licensed in PA
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum one (1) year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrate professional communication skills
- Passion for a high level of customer service
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Proficient in computer skills
- Report management experience
- Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying
- Actively look for ways to help people
- Be aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do
- Knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
- Experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or problems
- Excellent oral, reading and written communication skills
- Ability to adjust actions in relation to others' actions
- Monitor or assess the performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
- Must comply with any dress code requirements
