Job Summary
Conduct personalized nutrition plans and medical nutrition therapy for individuals seeking telemedicine care via the Teladoc platform. During virtual visits, analyze patients' health status, goals, and dietary restrictions while tracking intake, modifying plans as needed, and providing education on balanced diets. Utilize approved resources to deliver clinical care and refer to specialists when necessary. Complete thorough case documentation within 24 hours of each member visit and adhere strictly to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. Work independently on a 1099 contract basis with a minimum of 10 hours of weekly availability.
Required Qualifications
- U.S.-based dietitian with an active, unrestricted Registered Dietitian (RD) credential in at least one state
- Licensure in an additional state (Arizona, California, Colorado, Michigan, New Jersey, or Virginia do not offer state RD licensure)
- Required license or credential: Licensed Dietitian (LD) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN)
- Maintain all state RD licensure in respective specialty
- Master's degree in science or related health specialty unless RD/RDN license obtained prior to January 1st, 2024
- Minimum 1 years of experience as licensed RD/RDN working independently
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills including documentation utilizing the Assessment, Diagnoses, Intervention and Monitoring/Evaluation (ADIME) process
- Ability to build rapport quickly using skills necessary for a virtual visit platform
- Ability to provide at least 10 hours of weekly availability to support our members
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
