Job Summary
Provide direct outpatient care by performing the nutrition care process, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation. Use nutrition diagnoses to clarify patient problems for the interdisciplinary team and lead brief interventions to improve health outcomes. Deliver leadership and direction to physicians, nurses, residents, and allied health professionals while assisting with educational materials, the corporate wellness plan, and community initiatives like CenteringDiabetes and CenteringPregnancy classes. Utilize clinical software applications including AthenaHealth and Google Drive to facilitate care.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain a state license by the Alabama Dietetic Licensure Board
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with patients and colleagues, that augment positive patient outcomes
- Must be passionate about healthcare and committed to our mandate of putting 'Patients First'
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in patient care following board licensure is desired
