Job Summary
The Registered Dietitian supports the Medically Tailored Meals team by conducting intake evaluations, nutrition assessments, and developing individualized nutrition plans. Responsibilities include reviewing meal plans for adequacy and cultural appropriateness, paricipating in nutrition workshops, maintaining participant records, ensuring confidentiality standards, and coordinating care with other agencies. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or related field
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Must possess food handler’s certification
- Must possess a valid California Class C Driver License
- Must be 21 years or older
- Complete The Salvation Army vehicle course training
