Job Summary

Conduct initial and follow-up nutrition counseling sessions with members via phone, chat, and video visits to deliver personalized nutrition plans and lifestyle recommendations. Track weight loss progress, assess nutritional needs, and set health goals while developing strategies to manage GI side effects related to weight loss medications. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care for patients on weight loss medications and document all patient progress and care plans. Stay current with evidence-based research on nutrition science and weight management strategies to support sustainable behavior change. Work in a virtual contact center environment with back-to-back scheduled interactions, maintaining HIPAA compliance and utilizing provided clinical software and remote monitoring tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Active credentialing as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and/or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LD/N)
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in dietetics, with demonstrated expertise in weight management
  • Experience with motivational interviewing and health behavior change techniques
  • Knowledge of weight loss medications and their impact on nutrition and weight management
  • Effective communicator who builds rapport and maintains a patient-centric, empathetic, motivational approach that supports long-term engagement and behavior change
  • Ability to translate complex nutritional science into practical, actionable recommendations for patients through various mediums (phone, chat, email, etc)
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, virtual contact center with back-to-back scheduled and ad-hoc interactions with members
  • Accurately and promptly document member interaction, including but not limited to consultation and intervention notes, nursing care plan, and assessments
  • Maintain a patient-centric, empathetic, and motivational approach that supports long-term engagement and positive behavior change
  • Protect member privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
  • A private, interruption-free workspace where you can complete your job duties and consultations
  • Utilize provided technology effectively, including communication platforms, clinical software, and remote monitoring tools
  • Support organizational goals for member satisfaction, clinical quality, and operational efficiency
  • Reliable, flexible availability to work assigned shifts (including rotating holidays for member coverage), adjust hours as needed during surge or emergency periods, and maintain consistent attendance to support service levels and member access
  • Denver Hybrid role: remote Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; in-office Tuesday and Thursday
  • Shift available: 9:00 am–5:30 pm MST
  • May require occasional holiday and weekend coverage based on member and program needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
  • Additional licenses in the red states
