Job Summary
The Registered Dietician PRN is responsible for planning and delivering nutritional care to patients, working as a part of a multidisciplinary care team. Key responsibilities include assessing patients' nutritional status, developing and prescribing therapeutic diet orders, and providing nutritional counseling. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, current Registered Dietician license, and a minimum of three years of experience in healthcare or education. Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in course work approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) or the American Dietetic Association (ADA)
- Current license as a Registered Dietician within state of employment
- CPR certification
- Hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Dietician in a healthcare or educational setting
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree in nutrition or equivalent study
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting
