Job Summary
The Registered Dietician PRN develops and delivers nutritional care for patients within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessing nutritional status, creating care plans, prescribing therapeutic diets, and providing nutritional counseling. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, state licensure as a Registered Dietician, CPR certification, and at least three years of experience in a healthcare setting. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in nutrition and experience in behavioral healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in course work approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) or the American Dietetic Association (ADA)
- Current license as a Registered Dietician within state of employment
- CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Dietician in a healthcare or educational setting
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree in nutrition or equivalent study
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting
