Job Summary
Registered Dietician (part-time) at Piedmont Wellness Center. Provides professional nutritional counseling and education, plans and presents nutrition-related programs/seminars for members and community, develops nutritional curriculum and educational materials, maintains licensure/registration, and demonstrates strong communication/presentation skills to teach clients. Supports center marketing efforts and utilizes core business software to meet departmental and organizational goals; flexible with center hours and appointments for prospects and members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (ACEND-approved)
- Completion of clinical training per ACEND guidelines
- Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification from CDR
- CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in core business software
- Ability to multi-task and work with members/prospects
- Flexibility with center hours/work schedules
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to develop and present nutrition-related programs and educational materials
- Licensure as Dietitian Nutritionist may be required by state/federal requirements
- Experience in fitness/health/medical fitness center environment preferred
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred
- Weight management certification preferred
