Job Summary
Conduct home visits to clients in Bucks and Montgomery County, PA, delivering dietetic education and counseling on medical nutrition therapy for preventative care and disease management. Translate scientific findings into practical guidance for staff, clients, and caregivers while providing reliable, objective information in a home health setting. Assess, develop, and plan nutritional strategies, then thoroughly document clinical treatment through electronic medical records. Function as a member of the home health care team with expertise in nutritional care, traveling to assigned cases as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition from an accredited institution, as evidenced by diploma or transcript
- Ability to maintain membership and registration in the American Dietetic Association
- Must be a licensed Registered Dietitian in the state of PA
- Have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as Registered Dietician in a health care setting
- Ability to travel to cases, as assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Home health care experience a plus
- Solid computer skills
- prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
