Job Summary
Registered Dietitian provides nutrition assessments, quarterly and interim reviews, and participates in care plan development for residents at The Residence at Kenilworth Park. Responsibilities include nutrition education for residents and families, counseling on dietary plans and food selection, developing and implementing care plans, documenting monthly weight-change reports to Nursing Services, staff in-service education, and serving as a resource to the Foodservice Department while adhering to facility protocols and health regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Maryland Registered Dietitian License
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to build relationships with residents, families, and staff
- Experience in nutrition assessment and care-plan development
- Nutrition education and counseling to individuals and groups
- Familiarity with relevant health protocols and board of health standards
- Interdisciplinary team participation and communication
