Job Summary
Conduct home health visits in Union, Somerset, and Middlesex Counties to assess clients and families on medical nutrition therapy for preventative care and disease management. Deliver dietetic education to staff, clients, and caregivers by translating scientific findings into practical applications. Maintain thorough clinical documentation through electronic medical records while functioning as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary health care team. Requires a licensed Registered Dietitian in NJ with a Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, plus two years of recent healthcare experience. Per diem opportunity with travel to cases as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition from an accredited institution, as evidenced by diploma or transcript
- Ability to maintain membership and registration in the American Dietetic Association
- Must be a licensed Registered Dietitian in the state of NJ
- Have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as Registered Dietician in a health care setting
- Ability to travel to cases, as assigned
