Job Summary
Registered Dental Hygienist to join Terrery Dental's clinical team in Scotrun, PA. Responsible for preventive and periodontal care including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, comprehensive periodontal evaluations and charting; take and review digital X-rays and intraoral images; apply fluoride and sealants; educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and risk factors; collaborate with dentists on treatment planning and case presentation; maintain accurate patient records and adhere to OSHA and infection control standards; contribute to a welcoming patient experience and efficient schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associate's degree or higher)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Local anesthesia certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills with attention to detail and patient comfort
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Experience with digital radiography and modern practice management software preferred
