Job Summary
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and comprehensive oral assessments while performing precise dental X-rays. Apply fluoride and sealants, educate patients on oral care, and collaborate with doctors to align treatment plans. Maintain hygiene instruments using cutting-edge sterilization techniques and implement follow-up procedures to monitor patient progress. Requires a state dental hygiene license, strong anatomy knowledge, and proficiency in medical records management. Schedule includes 8-5 Tuesday through Friday with flexible days.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
- State dental hygiene license
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices
- Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times
