Maintain instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments. Apply fluoride and sealants to prevent decay, then complete dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins. Detect disease through oral cancer screenings, periodontal assessments, and digital radiographs while charting conditions for diagnosis. Perform 1-hour prophy, 1.5-hour SRP, and 1.5-hour new patient procedures. Work Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 5 PM with no nights or weekends.
