Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Deliver direct dental care to patients under a dentist's supervision, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants and fluoride application, and related procedures. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, assess dental conditions and review medical histories, assist with dental and perio charting, take radiographs, and ensure compliance with government regulations and office standards. Provide compassionate patient experiences, support Same Day Care opportunities, and guide patients through the treatment process while maintaining high-quality dental care in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment. Comfortable working with children (70%+ of patient base) and contributing to a comprehensive benefits package and continuing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
- CPR (BLS) from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment (required upon hire)
- Experience delivering direct dental care and associated services under general supervision of a dentist (as described in responsibilities)
- Knowledge of radiology, nitrous oxide, sealants, fluoride application, and charting practices
- Familiarity with government regulations and company standards
