Job Summary
Conduct oral health assessments for oral cancer and periodontal diseases, perform thorough dental cleanings to remove plaque and tartar, and take digital x-rays. Apply preventive materials like sealants and fluoride, assist dentists with examinations and follow-up treatments, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Document patient dental history and maintain accurate records while adhering to all infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines. Work full-time Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. with no nights, weekends, or on-call hours. Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelors in Hygiene from an Accredited Program
- Current Michigan Registered Dental Hygiene License
