Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Perform thorough dental hygiene assessments, including medical history review, periodontal charting, and oral cancer screenings. Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and other preventive and therapeutic treatments. Take and review radiographs in compliance with ALARA standards and state regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the connection between oral and systemic health. Document patient records accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized patient treatment plans. Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and OSHA-compliant clinical environment. Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in South Carolina, current CPR/BLS certification, and experience with digital radiography and practice management software required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with digital radiography and practice management software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A collaborative, positive attitude and a team-first mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Local anesthesia certification
