Job Summary
Assist with oral health management by verifying patient identity, reviewing medical history, and obtaining assessments. Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, sealant application, and fluoride treatment consistent with best practices. Deliver oral health education and counseling on brushing and flossing while documenting all services on patient charts. Travel daily to school sites to deliver care, working a standard school day schedule from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. This role supports the nation's leading in-school dental program, which provides preventative and restorative care to approximately 500,000 underserved children annually.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RDH in the state of Michigan
- Working experience with Sealants and Polishing
- Organized
- Reliable
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
- CPR certification card
- Min. of 1 year working experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Digital X-ray Imaging experience
- Valid driver license
- Willingness to travel to schools in neighboring counties
- Works well with children
- Team player
- Able to work on a small team
