Job Summary
Assist with oral health management of all patients by verifying identity, reviewing medical history, and obtaining oral health assessments. Provide oral hygiene services including dental prophylaxis, sealant application, and fluoride application consistent with best practices. Deliver oral health education and individual counseling on tooth brushing and flossing while documenting all services on patient charts. Perform daily travel to and from school sites to deliver care directly in classrooms or mobile facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RDH in the state of Michigan
- Working experience with Sealants and Polishing
- Organized
- Reliable
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
- CPR certification card
- Min. of 1 year working experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Digital X-ray Imaging experience
- Valid driver license
- Willingness to travel to schools in neighboring counties
- Works well with children
- Team player
- Able to work on a small team
