Job Summary
Assist with oral health management of all patients by verifying identity, obtaining assessments, and reviewing medical history. Provide oral hygiene services including dental prophylaxis, scaling, sealant application, and fluoride application consistent with best practices. Deliver oral health education and individual counseling on tooth brushing and flossing to each patient. Document provided dental services on the patient's chart and provide dental assistance as directed by the dentist. Travel daily to and from school sites to deliver care to underserved children.
Required Qualifications
- Active RDH license
- Working experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist
- Valid driver license
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to schools in nearby counties
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
