Job Summary
Full-time Registered Dental Hygienist responsible for delivering comprehensive oral hygiene services, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealant application, and fluoride treatment, while documenting patient data, radiographs, and treatment records. Will prepare operatory, verify patient information, communicate oral health instructions, and collaborate with dentists and dental staff to ensure quality patient care. Requires unrestricted Ohio license, completion of a dental hygiene program, CPR/BLS certification, 2+ years and 3,000+ hours of dental hygiene experience, and ability to perform clinical and administrative tasks in a clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene program
- Unrestricted active license to practice in the State of Ohio
- At least two years and a minimum of three thousand hours of experience in the practice of dental hygiene
- Current CPR (BLS) certifications. ACLS preferred
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred
- Ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges required
