Job Summary
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) needed for full-time role in Jamaica Estates, Queens. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive periodontal assessments, periodontal charting, risk evaluation, radiographs, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, fluoride treatments, sealants, and educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care. Operate digital dental technologies such as iTero intraoral scanning, Dexis radiography, and EHR/charting systems; coordinate with providers on exams and treatment planning. Maintain patient flow with efficient recall appointments and uphold high standards of patient care in a fast-paced, multi-operatory setting. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM with no weekends or late nights. Strong emphasis on collaboration with the clinical team, integrity, dependability, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Dental Hygiene License (RDH) in good standing
- Minimum 1–2+ years of clinical dental hygiene experience
- Local Anesthesia Certification (Preferred)
- Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification (Preferred)
- Bilingual: Spanish strongly preferred to serve our diverse patient population (Preferred)
- Experience with Open Dental practice management software
- Familiarity with Dexis digital radiography and iTero intraoral scanning (Preferred)
- Google Workspace (Calendar, Drive, Gmail) (Preferred)
