Job Summary
Provide periodontal maintenance and SRP, educate patients on oral hygiene, perform periodontal charting, and maintain accurate records in Dentrix. Communicate treatment plans with referring dentists, manage hygiene inventory, and utilize Cavitron and hand instrumentation skills. Work part-time, one to two days per week from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursdays and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Fridays, earning $60–$65/hour. This private, fee-for-service periodontal practice offers one-hour appointments, dedicated assistants, and a supportive culture with no production quotas or sales pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Active California RDH license
- Available Mondays
- Right-handed
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience preferred (we're willing to train the right person)
- Skilled with Cavitron, hand instrumentation, local anesthetic, and nitrous
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Genuine passion for dental hygiene and periodontal therapy
