Job Summary
Provide periodontal maintenance and SRP, educate patients on oral hygiene, and perform periodontal charting while maintaining accurate records in Dentrix. Communicate treatment plans with referring dentists and help manage hygiene inventory. This part-time role includes Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 2:00 PM, with pay ranging from $60 to $65/hour. The practice offers dedicated assistants for x-rays and charting, no production quotas or sales pressure, and a supportive team culture focused on quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Active California RDH license
- Available Mondays
- Right-handed
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience preferred (we're willing to train the right person)
- Skilled with Cavitron, hand instrumentation, local anesthetic, and nitrous
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Genuine passion for dental hygiene and periodontal therapy
