Job Summary
Provide direct patient care including medical assessments, periodontal charting, and routine oral prophylaxis with fluoride application and sealants. Perform deep scaling, curettage, root planning, and administer topical and local anesthetics per dentist direction. Manage dental recalls, clean prostheses, and interpret radiographs while ensuring diagnostic quality and minimizing retakes. Maintain infection control protocols, sterilize instruments, and educate patients on oral health, tobacco cessation, and disease prevention. Collaborate with dental assistants to ensure efficient chairside flow and monitor patient conditions for distress. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a minimum of two days per week and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience providing Dental Hygienist services
- Graduate of a school of allied health/technical program (or equivalent)
- Current certification and registration in General Dentistry and Periodontology, as a Dental Hygienist
- Training in dental radiology and radiology safety
- Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
- Ability to read, understand, count, fluently speak, and legibly write the English language
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM schedule
- 6 hours per day
- Minimum of two days per week
- Estimated hours: 24 to 60 hours per two-week period
